Bara Parade

Introducing this new split-level 4-bedroom house in Dolphin Point, NSW. Situated opposite picturesque bushland, the residence offers breath-taking views and a unique connection to nature. The thoughtfully designed layout maximizes space utilization, providing distinct living, dining, and relaxation zones.

Embracing eco-conscious design, the house features polished concrete floors that add sophistication while contributing to energy efficiency. The thermal mass of concrete absorbs and stores heat during the day, releasing it slowly at night, stabilizing indoor temperatures and reducing the need for additional heating or cooling. Complementing this, strategically positioned north-facing windows harness passive solar heating, maximizing sunlight exposure throughout the day and minimizing artificial heating requirements during colder months.

We integrated bushfire-resistant materials and features, ensuring the highest level of protection for residents in this bushfire prone area.

My client provided a very rough sketch of the general room arrangement to get the design process started. Planning for a Complying Development Certificate began late 2020 and was completed early 2021. The construction finished mid 2022.
